Verfasst: 21.10.2013 07:19
Am Worldcup hat Inception Designs einen Axe aftermarket Body vergestellt.
Habe mich mal mit Simon in Verbindung gesetzt....I am currently waiting on blank bodies from Empire to machine but I do not yet know when they will arrive.
When I get them in and start machining I will let everyone know via my facebook and forums www.inceptionforums.com
Thanks
Simon

New Custom "FLE" Axe body from Inception Designs (only 100 to be made)
Today we finished machining the last of our custom Axe bodies, and we will be releasing them over the coming weeks.
We've already released, and are known for, the Kryptonite series of
custom gun bodies, which are actually the most complex bodies to
machine so far in paintball requiring a 5 axis milling machine and
complex CNC programming, but we thought it was time for something more "curvy"
We wanted to make something special to signify the end of our machining
custom Axe bodies and so we brought ourselves back to where the
custom Axe's started and took the body down to 40% less than the original.
We removed all the excess material possible from the body while still keeping a practical and functional marker.
Starting out with this...
We were able to take a gun body that normally weighs this...
Down to this...
Oh and here is a box of them already finished and ready to go!
Quelle: PbNationThe raw ones are done and on their way to your local dealer NOW! Please contact your local Inception Designs dealer if you want one.
There will be less than 100 made in total.
Anodized matte black units will be available in about 2 weeks (they are already at the anodizers).
Anyone who has seen Inception Designs at an event has had an opportunity to see the prototype gun that led to this production body.
We did update the design though and implemented a minimum 0.2" radius for all internal corners so it is beautifully smooth and very easy to clean.
The code to run the gun body is over 56,000 lines of code for what is a very smooth and simplistic looking body design. This is what the "G Code" looks like as it is controlling the machine.
This is the tumble polished finish of the raw bodies we send out. You can go anywhere from here, a final polish to make it super glossy after anodizing, or a media blast or etch to give you a matte finish.
