die ersten 100 Jahre hat man Fussball auch nicht überall gleich gespielt.
Unser Sport lässt verschiedene Varianten zu...ist doch schön!

Paintball ist leider kein Breitensport den jeder und jeden Alters machen kann...wenn die breite Masse Paintball spielen würde dann sähe die Sache anders aus!

der wird nicht kommen, solang Paintball nicht auch in der Breite angekommen ist

Das Problem beim pb ist der fehlende internationale dachverband.

In der vermarktung, aber nicht in der reinen ausübung. Hab mal gelesen, das pb der sport mit den höchsten umsätzen bei equipment (vor allem durch die paint) ist.

aber ohne paintz geht es halt auch leider nciht.
fussball kannst du barfuss mit ner blechdose als ball spielen...kostet nichts!

§19 DPL

"Spielwertung
Der Gewinner eines Spiels bekommt 3 Match-Punkte, der Verlierer 0 Match-Punkte. Bei einem Unentschieden erhalten beide Mannschaften je 1 Match-Punkt. Kommentar: Durch die Umstellung vom Punktbasiertem Format auf Zeitbasiertes Format werden sowieso schon mehr Runden als vorher gespielt, deshalb wird es keinen zusätzlichen Entscheidungspunkt (= Overtime) geben. "

Keine Overtime mehr?

Die WPBO sieht da ja eine Menge Möglichkeiten vor:

"OVERTIME
Players will start overtime on their own pit side of the field.
Overtime (prelims)
- If two teams are tied at the end of the match regulation time a 3-minute 5-on-5 over
time is played.
- The overtime period is sudden death; first team to score wins.
- Should the overtime point end in a stalemate, the team with the most bodies alive
wins.
- In the case that the two teams end the stalemated overtime with the same amount of
player alive; the team with the active player who has advanced furthest down the field
wins the match.
- If the WPBO affiliate league had determined that teams must not end in a tie, then;
- If the two teams furthest advanced active players are the same distance, a coin
flip will determine the winner.
- If the WPBO affiliate league allows team to end in a tie, then;
- If the two teams furthest advanced active players are the same distance the teams
will end in a tie.

Overtime (Elimination Rounds) (Quarterfinals, Semifinals, Finals, etc.)
- If two teams are tied at the end of a match’s regulation time, a 5-minute 5-on-5
overtime is played.
- The overtime period is sudden death; first team to score wins.
- The “60 seconds rule” applies in the last sixty seconds of overtime.
- If the 5-mintue overtime results in a stalemate, the two teams will each select a
player to compete in a One-on-One.
- The One-on-One will be two minutes and is sudden death; the first player to eliminate
the opposing player or hit the buzzer at the opponent’s base will win the match.
- Incase of a stalemate, neither player is eliminated and a buzzer in not hit, or the
players are mutually eliminated, then the player who has advanced further downfield
(player closest to the opponents base) wins the match.
- If the two players have advanced the same distance there will be a break time of one
minute and the teams must choose a different player to compete in a second Oneon-
One.
- This will be repeated until a team wins a One-on-One."

in der dpl gibt's keine OT mehr.
Stehts nach der Spielzeit unentschieden, geht das Spiel mit einem Unentschieden in die Wertung - war damals bei der XPSL auch so.. eigentlich gar nicht mal soo kacke
