GI Sportz Pulse RDR Settings
Alright guys, as some of you have noticed, your RDR has no manual with it in the box. This thread is what we have found so far to keep people informed with the available settings and values.
Software version 2013-11-15 (77)
To enter into programming mode, turn on the RDR by holding both side buttons down for three seconds. Once on, press and hold the left arrow button until the settings are displayed.
To navigate the menu:
-Right button(Down)
-Left Button(Up)
-Center Button(Enter)
Exit Menu - To exit the menu
Game Timer - Set at 5:00 minutes
-Right Button = Increases value(loops)
-Left Button = Select value to the left(loops)
-Center = Enter
Set Alarm - Alarm that will sound at set time.(45sec)
-Right Button = Increases value(loops)
-Left Button = Select value to the left(loops)
-Center = Enter
Timer Start - How the game timer starts, manually or the first ball shot or both.
-Right button(Down)
-Left Button(Up)
-Center Button(Enter)
Power Saver - Display turns off to save battery life.
-On = Dims immediately.
-10-60 = Time it takes for display to turn off.
-Off = Display stays on at all times.
Hot Start - Time it takes to turn on and off the loader.
-Instant = Our favorite, press both left and right buttons to turn on and off the RDR instantly.
-2-3= Seconds you have to hold down both buttons to turn on and off the RDR.
Auto Shutdown - Time it takes for the RDR to turn off after idling for X amount of time. 5, 10 minutes or Never.
-Right button(Down)
-Left Button(Up)
-Center Button(Enter)
Speed Boost - The rate the spindle arm spins.
-On = The spindle actually spins slower at first and when needed, the spindle will "Boost" up to a faster rate.
-Off = The spindle will spin at 100% speed all of the time.
It is unclear at this time if this was meant to be opposite of what it actually is. Either way, it seems to be softer on the stack tension with it "ON"
Change Display - Allows you to change what is displayed
-All 3 = Shot counter, BPS, Chrono
-Speed = FPS only
-BPS = BPS only
-Totals Balls = Shot counter
-Game Timer = Game Timer only
-Rotate View = Displays each display on its own. To cycle through the displays, press the Back button.
Version - Displays what current version(77) and date it was issued(2013-11-15)
Language - Set the Language which is displayed
-English
-Francais
Factory Default - Restore every setting to factory
-While highlighted, pressing the center button will reset everything back to factory settings.
Turn Off - Turn of the loader
General operation
-Center Button While playing, if you experience a jam and need to clear it, press the center button. The loader will spin backwards to attempt to clear a jam or feed the last bit of paint.
-Right ButtonPressing the right button while the display is off will wake up the screen and display what ever parameter you have set for the "Change Display" setting.
-Left Button Pressing the left button while the loader is on will cycle through the displays if you have the "Change Display" setting to "Rotate View" press
Something interesting and clever here......
