Ein Thema was den gesamten Event ganz schön ins "Trubeln" bringen könnte. Der anstehende Hurricane Wilma. Hier das Zitat der PSP:

Hurricane Wilma
Along with Disney officials, the PSP is keeping a close eye on Hurricane Wilma.

Along with Disney officials, the PSP is keeping a close
eye on Hurricane Wilma. According to current predictions, the storm is
set to pass through southern Florida sometime on Saturday, October
22nd. In this event, we will experience a heavy rainstorm with some
wind in Orlando at the event site.
As of now our biggest concerns lie with vendors, tents,
and netting. In preparation for the hurricane according to the
forecast, we are thus delaying the set-up for tents and netting until
after the storm passes this weekend. This will still leave time for the
necessary fields and tents to be put up in order for games to run as
scheduled beginning on the morning of Tuesday the 25th.
We will provide up-to-date and accurate information here
at www.pspevents.com as we continue to closely monitor the further
development of Hurricane Wilma. We look forward to seeing everyone at
Disney's Wide World of Sports® Complex for the 2005 World Cup next week.

Lobenswert, aber nach Katrina hab ich auch nicht erwartet das in nächster Zeit nochmal jemand einen Sturm unterschätzt.

Based on the current projected path of Hurricane Wilma, Disney World
has announced that their entire property including the Wide World of
Sports Complex will be closed on Monday, October 24th. Due to this
closure, registration and game schedules for D2 and D3 Xball as well as
D1 5-man will be moved back one day. Registration and games schedules for all other divisions will remain unchanged.

Registration will now open at noon on Tuesday, October 25th and
will be held in the registration tent onsite, NOT in the conference
room behind the All Star Cafe. Teams will be able to walk fields during
the day. The captains' meeting for these divisions will also take place
on Tuesday evening in the PSP stadium bleachers. The meeting for D1
5-man will begin at 6:00pm. The meeting for D2 and D3 will begin at
7:00pm.

Games for D2 and D3 Xball as well as D1 5-man will begin at 8am on
Wednesday. A schedule of these games will be available here at
www.pspevents.com by 8pm EST tonight.

All games for all other divisions will take place as originally
scheduled for later in the week. Everything will still be wrapped up in
time for Championship Sunday on October 30th.
