So, hier alle Grüchte und Angeblichkeiten um die Cyborg von MacDev.

Die Gun soll wie eine "kleine" Intimidator sein, sehr schnell, klein und verdammt leicht.

Kosten soll sie 2000 australische Dollar. Vergleichsweise kostet eine Angel Speed 3000 aus $. Ich such gleich mal den Wechselkurs heraus, ich mein aber das es dann 1 Euro = 2,x aus $ sein müsste.

Zusammen mit dem Conquest 03 und dem Matchstick soll es ein superkompaktes Setup geben, kann man gut nachvollziehen wenn man sich allein das Conquest ansieht. Das Schussfeeling soll mit dem einer Sonic Cocker vergleichbar sein. Die Person sprach von der Flugbahn der Bälle, nicht vom Abzugsgewicht.

Ich fürchte fast, daß wird so bald nix mit der Cyborg hier in D. Und wenn doch, wird sie sicher in der Preisklasse einer A4, bzw. dem Shocker'03 Komplettpaket liegen.

Ich denke bevor die hierzulande Abnehmer findet, müssen eine gute Marketingkampagne und ein Haufen unabhängiger positiver Reviews her. Gibs sonst wohl kaum Leute, die soviel Geld in eine "Neuentwicklung" stecken würden.

Über den Preis in Europa ist ja auch noch nix raus
und wenn sie das bringt wie gesagt wurde ist sie das geld bestimmt wert
zumindest eine alternative im highendbereich wenn sie denn die zulassung schafft

I hear that the cyborg is a timmy ripoff but supposed to be very fast James from Mac dev worked with Bob Long on the Timmy's and is a nice guy

one thing I know that has not been mentioned here is that it has a grip frame styled like the IR3/Speed... so similar in fact that you can use WDP grips on it.
other stuff that is also true...
it is sub 200psi operation
it works like a Timmy
it has an anti chop eye
MROF 30bps
it should be less than $1800

Ya Hoo i final got to check out the MAC Factory and thier new marker.
It is set up kinda like a Bushmaster with the battery tray missing so it sits lower.
Run on 200 PSI, this is not the claim of low pressure like i have seen so many other say. I have seen it run on 200.
I also shot a ball about 50 meters with only 100psi in the grip reg and the bottle pressure gauge bearley reading.
I put my finger in the feed neck and shot the thing fast and i still have my finger so that's a low cocking pressure.
The anti chop Eye is a beam from one side to the other so will read all colour paint and unlike some Anti chop systems i have seen this one works.
I also got to see the internals and the way they have set this thing up is very smart. All the things you need and none of the crap you dont
The only things i could pick on were 1 i would like differant milling (maybe later in a sonic version) but i have heard this wont make you a better player.
And 2 I would like a lighter trigger although it is adjustable i like them real light and will sort that out my self when i buy one.

Have just had the opportunity of being one of the first people in the world to see (and shoot) the Cyborg outside the MacDev factory, and it rips!!

Blobby and I put nearly a box though this morning, without a single problem. It's extremely fast, nice and quiet, and bloody efficient. With 1000psi in the tank we shot through 3 egg loads, and it was still going strong.. with less than 100psi in the tank, it was still shooting ~150fps, and breaking paint on a pole ~15 meters away..

There's also something new that Mac have been working on that's included with the Cyborg which is also really nice.. but you'll have to wait for the official release for that.

Cost is $1760.00 (AUD) for the marker which is the same as the Sonic AC 03.

I have this huge grin from ear to ear.
Here at home we have just finished even though we did'nt want to, to stop putting any more than the 1200 rounds we have allready put through my new macdev CYBORG on one 3000 fill tank. with a CONQUEST REG of course with JAMES from MACDEV
This is what i think:
LIGHTER than my fly angel.
NARROWER than my fly angel.
A TAD lighter than my SONIC 03.
It shoots flat like the SONIC 03.
Trigger is SWEET HAD THE RYTHUM HAPPENEN.
Or for the trigger buffs wait to you see how EASY no SIMPLE it is to adjust it.
How EASY is it to field strip let alone pull the rest of it apart.
SWITCHES from shoulder to shoulder with ease.
LITTLE recoil ( GREAT FOR US OLD AND SLOW GUYS UP THE BACK)
With it's MATCHSTICK freak system, HONEST INJUN this CYBORG is worth it's weight in GOLD.
