******DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS IF YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING.
This cannot be done on a drill press or with a dremel
because of the tight tolerances needed. Who ever does this
assumes all risks and cost of reapairs if messed up. The
warrenty will be void if not done to aka satifaction.******

Tools needed:
1, Knee mill or CNC mill
1, .110 dia center drill (dia of the center drills tip)
1, .09375 dia drill (prefferably a Titex parabolic drill)*
1, .115 dia drill (prefferably a Titex parabolic drill)*
1, .119-.120 dia reamer (prefferably a spiral flute reamer)
1, .1875 dia center cutting endmill (or metric equal)
1, 4-40 tap
1, Tapping fluid and drilling coolent.

* The drills should not be very long they just have to reach
from one side of the body to the centerline of the bore.
Keeping the drill short keeps it rigid and more accarute. We have
found Titex parablic drills to be a superb drill.

Steps.

1. DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS IF YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING.
THIS MODIFICATION REQUIRES THAT THE MARKER IS COMPLETELY TORN DOWN
AND EVERTHING REMOVED. IF YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING
YOU WILL CAUSE A LOT OF DAMAGE TO O-RINGS, SOLENOIDS, VALVES AND
POSSIBLELY THE BODY OF THE MARKER. DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS IF YOU DO
NOT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING.

2. Once the marker is completely torn down place the body on the
mill. Locate your x,y coordinates from the back end and bottom of
the marker body as per print.

3. Using the .1875 dia endmill. Spot the area for the eye hole just
enough to clean up the curved surface so it is flat. Do not go too
deep just clean the surface and you are done.

4. Using the center drill. Spot the center of the eye hole.

5. Use the .0937 dia drill to drill through the eye hole on the
first side. It is best to peck drill the hole and use plenty of
coolent for accuracy. Only drill one side at time.

6. Use the .115 dia drill to drill through the eye hole on the
first side. It is best to peck drill the hole and use plenty of
coolent for accuracy. Only drill one side at time.

7. Use the .119-.120 dia reamer to ream the first hole. Remember to
use plenty of coolent. Do not go too deep or the reamer will touch
the curvature of the other side of the bore.

8. The screw holes should be drilled one at a time, do not skip around.
Center drill the screw holes first. Then drill with the .09375 drill and
then tap with the 4-40 tap using plenty of tapping fluid or coolent.

9. Remove all burrs from the inside of the bore around the eye holes and
the screw holes. Try to remove most burrs by hand, at the most you might
have to just lightly run a hone through to clean it but be careful not to
remove anodize.

Notes:
The wire detent side of the marker only needs to have the eye hole
and the one 4-40 tapped hole. The non-wire detent side gets three
4-40 tapped holes and an eye hole.
